STEP 4

Review the following drawings to determine which suspension options will work with your building.  The selection can then be finalized with your dealer, and/or given to an architect or structural engineer for approval.

 

The following drawings depict various suspensions and clamps directly using the truss system. No added steel nor wall support is used. The mat is suspended perpendicular to the building's truss system except as noted for drawing 20.

01 and 02 drawings illustrate perpendicular suspension on multiple truss.

04 and 05 drawings illustrate the CL-5 unit clamp which is a part of the hoist frame. The B7 rods of the CL-5 attach to selected suspension clamps or the building steel.

06 and 07 drawings illustrate the standard suspension clamp CL–7 to which the B7 rods of the CL-5 unit clamp attaches.

17 and 18 illustrate clamping parallel directly to an existing large I beam
